ACEND is a board-recognized continuing competency approval agency.  We are authorized to approve courses that meet all of the standards set forth in article 1399.96 under the California Code of Regulations.  Furthermore, we are devoted to providing easy access to multi-state course approval for continuing education providers, allowing for a single application to fulfill the continuing education requirements of multiple states.

ACEND will strive to inform consumers of available continuing education courses, regardless of the marketing budget of the provider. All course providers who have a course approved through ACEND will be listed on our web page, allowing for an easy search for consumers.

ACEND desires to see a move towards further accepted national standards, increasing consistency in the expectations of both Physical Therapists and the companies that continually educate those Therapists.
